Established in January 2017, The Rebecca Foundation complements the efforts of government by undertaking the following; supporting and promoting initiatives that improve the economic status of women; enhancing literacy and learning skills in children; improving environmental health and sanitation by greening public spaces;

Ghana Demographic and Health Survey states that 66% of Ghanaian children under 5 years of age suffer from anaemia.

In the northern region about 37% of children are stunted due to childhood malnutrition

 Ghana Health Service identified as many as 10,000 “severely malnourished” children in five regions of the country.

140,000 children are born prematurely every year. 8,000 of these children die before they are a month old
